Common questions
Is my TDEE exact?
No, it is an estimate within roughly ±10%. Activity factors are broad buckets. Use it as a starting point, then adjust based on two or three weeks of real scale trend.
Should I eat back exercise calories?
Usually not. Trackers overestimate burn, and the activity factor already assumes your typical movement. Eating them back is the most common reason a deficit stalls.
Why did my TDEE drop after losing weight?
A lighter body needs less energy. Recalculate every 5 kg or so. The number that maintained your old weight can maintain your new one.
