Why does Hi-Doctor not prescribe Priligy?

Our doctors only prescribe treatments with robust clinical evidence, an EU-approved indication and a reviewed safety profile. Priligy is not on that list today. It may be investigational, not approved, or outside the scope of what we handle via telemedicine.

What alternatives can I consider within sexual health?

Our doctors review your history and propose the most appropriate treatment among those authorised in the EU for sexual health. The plan is €25/month for weight loss or €15/month (billed €45 every 90 days) for hair growth; sexual health remains a €35 one-off consultation. If your case is not eligible, the applicable fee is refunded.

How would my sexual health consultation work?

You fill in an online medical questionnaire (~4 min). An EU-licensed doctor reviews it and replies in less than 2 hours on average via the private chat in your account. If eligible, they issue an electronic prescription valid in any EU pharmacy.

Can I switch from Priligy to a treatment the doctor can prescribe?

Often, yes. Tell the doctor in the questionnaire that you have used Priligy, for how long and how it went. The doctor decides whether one of the sexual health treatments authorised in the EU is appropriate for you and, if it is, explains how to move from one to the other safely.

Is it safe to use Priligy without a doctor's supervision?

No prescription medicine should be used without a doctor who knows your health and your other medicines. Products sold without a prescription online may be counterfeit or wrongly dosed. If you are already using Priligy, keep your prescriber informed and report any side effect.

What should I tell the doctor if I have used Priligy before?

The dose, how long you took it, whether it helped, any side effects and why you stopped. Add your other medicines, allergies and relevant conditions. This lets the doctor judge which sexual health option, if any, is appropriate and safe for you.

What happens if the doctor decides no treatment is appropriate?

The doctor explains why in your private chat and, where it helps, what to do next, for example seeing your own doctor or a specialist in person. The consultation fee is refunded in full when the doctor cannot approve treatment.

Can I get a consultation for Priligy from Madrid?

Yes. Hi-Doctor runs 100 % online across the EU, so if you live in Madrid you can fill in the questionnaire and receive the medical review without travelling. The electronic prescription issued by the licensed doctor is valid in any EU pharmacy under Directive 2011/24/EU; in Spain it is dispensed directly from the prescription QR.

Is my sexual health consultation fully confidential?

Yes. All communication happens in the private chat of your account, GDPR-compliant. The doctor treats discretion as a core of the service and there is no history visible outside your consultation.

What is the private electronic prescription and why is it valid across the EU?

The private electronic prescription (Receta Médica Privada Electrónica) is issued by a licensed doctor in Spain. It is a PDF carrying every field required by EU Directive 2011/24/EU (patient, prescriber with country of registration, active ingredient, dose), which makes it legally recognised across all 27 EU member states. In Spanish pharmacies it is dispensed from the QR; outside Spain, the pharmacist dispenses the locally marketed equivalent of the same active ingredient.
